Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪
Soft in the center, golden at the edges, and packed with chocolate chips — these classic cookies are always a good idea.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each addition.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.
