🎃 Halloween Peanut Butter Brownie Bars
Rich, fudgy brownies layered with creamy peanut butter, topped with orange frosting and Reese’s Pieces. Perfect for a Halloween dessert table!
Ingredients
Brownies
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Peanut Butter Layer
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Orange Frosting
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp heavy cream or milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Orange food coloring
Topping
- ¾ cup Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder and salt until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread half the brownie batter into the pan.
- Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Spoon over the batter, then spread gently.
- Cover with the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 28–34 minutes, until the edges are set and the center remains slightly fudgy. Cool completely.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, cream and vanilla until fluffy. Tint with orange food coloring.
- Spread frosting over the cooled brownies and press Reese’s Pieces over the top.
- Slice into thick bars and serve.
🍫 Tip: Chill the brownies for 20–30 minutes before slicing for cleaner layers, or serve slightly warm for an extra-gooey chocolate center.
