🍫 Chocolate Pecan Pie
Rich chocolate, toasted pecans, and a gooey brown sugar filling come together in this classic fall pie with an extra decadent twist. Perfect for Thanksgiving, holiday dinners, or a cozy autumn dessert.
Ingredients
Pie
• 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
• 1 cup pecan halves
• ¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 3 large eggs
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup light corn syrup
• ¼ cup melted butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ tsp salt
Optional Toppings
• Whipped cream
• Chocolate drizzle
• Extra toasted pecans
Directions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F. Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
-
Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the bottom of the crust, followed by the pecans.
-
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
-
Slowly pour the filling over the chocolate and pecans.
-
Arrange a few extra pecan halves on top for a decorative finish.
-
Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the edges are set and the center has only a slight jiggle.
-
If the crust begins browning too quickly, loosely cover the edges with foil.
-
Let the pie cool completely for at least 2 hours before slicing. The filling will continue to set as it cools.
-
Serve at room temperature or slightly warm with whipped cream or a drizzle of melted chocolate.
🍂 For an extra-rich serving, pair each slice with vanilla ice cream.
