🍪 Dark Cocoa Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Rich, soft chocolate cookies loaded with creamy peanut butter chips. They’re chewy in the center, slightly crisp around the edges, and packed with chocolate-peanut butter flavor.

Prep: 15 minutes | Bake: 10–12 minutes | Makes: About 24 cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups peanut butter chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
  6. Fold in the peanut butter chips.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Tip: Press a few extra peanut butter chips into the tops before baking for bakery-style cookies.
