Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Bars

🍫 Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Bars

Thick, fudgy brownies layered with creamy peanut butter fudge and finished with a smooth chocolate topping. Rich, gooey, and made for serious chocolate-peanut butter fans. 🥜🍫

Ingredients

Brownie Layer

  • 1½ cups unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt

Peanut Butter Fudge

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Chocolate Topping

  • 2 cups milk or semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter, cocoa and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt just until no dry streaks remain.
  3. Spread batter evenly in the pan. Bake 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  4. For the peanut butter layer, beat peanut butter and softened butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread evenly over the cooled brownies.
  5. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter together in short microwave intervals, stirring until glossy and smooth.
  6. Pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Drizzle with a little extra melted chocolate if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until the topping sets, then slice into thick squares.

Tip: Let the bars sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving for that soft, gooey peanut butter center shown in the photos.
